V4SPORT FOUNDATION

Established in 2009, the organization is committed to promoting physical activity and combating sedentary lifestyles through innovative and comprehensive interventions, using sport and physical activity as tools for social development. V4SPORT’s work has been widely recognized—for example, as a best practice example in the European Commission’s report on innovative practices to promote sports outside of traditional structures. Over the last 15 years, V4SPORT has developed and implemented numerous national and international projects, working together with partners from around the world, including NGOs, as well as private and public sectors. V4SPORT is a member of the International Sport and Culture Association and the Active Healthy Kids Global Alliance (AHKGA). Within the framework of the AHKGA, V4SPORT has been coordinating the development of the Report on the State of Physical Activity of Children and Youth in Poland—one of the most widely cited reports in Poland and a key source of data for decision-makers. V4SPORT’s approach is based on four key pillars: research, advocacy, cross-sectoral cooperation, and capacity building.
