Viaduct sealing system

Classic sealing on concrete structures places enormous demands on subsurface, temperature and evenness. Short construction times, varying weather conditions and increasingly tight budgets necessitate new building materials and processes. The Viaduct sealing system allows you to complete areas of up to 7,000 m² in one day. As ROTABIT ® follows the surface structure of the subsurface, the scratch coat necessary for bituminous sheeting is no longer required. Heights can be adjusted using materials such as mastic asphalt (MA) or open-pored mastic asphalt. ROTACIT ® Priming Epoxy resin primer Super low-viscosity epoxy resin - 34 mPas at 8°C - 17 mPas at 20°C - Fills pores - Closes capillaries - Heat-resistant Application: - Pot life approx. 45 minutes at 20°C - Applied by hand using a rubber squeegee - No need to scatter quartz sand - Can also be applied to new concrete after 12 hours - For outside temperatures of 0°C and above Usage: approx. 200 – 300 g/m² ROTABIT ® Sealing coat Polymer-modified bitumen seal Polymer-modified bitumen compound - Bitumen - Elastomers - Special additives - Can be sprayed on Application: - Manually using a squeegee or - using a sprayer boom - Processing temperature approx. 180°C - Application at low outside temperatures of -5°C and above - No scratch coat required Usage: approx. 3 – 4 kg/m²
