Viapass is the supervising and coordinating public organisation for the Kilometer Charge.
Since April 1st 2016, Belgium is a toll country. The Kilometer Charge applies for HGV of over 3.5 tons and for N1 trucks with body code BC. All these trucks need to be equipped with an On Board Unit that is constantly switched on when they drive on Belgium's public roads. This OBU will only charge the kilometers driven on paying toll roads.
