Vibra Nova

Vibra Nova designs and develops a patented technology to enhance user experiences in the digital world by adding a sense of touch to tactile devices. Vibra Nova took over all hap2U’s assets, founded in 2015, as of April 2024. It leverages several years of research and development, and owns close to a hundred patents related to ultrasonic haptic devices. Its main domain of applications are automotive, industrial and consumer applications. The ambition of our company is to unlock the full potential of surface haptics thanks to a revolutionary and patented ultrasonic haptics technology, which we believe will equip most of our common HMIs in the future. Vibra Nova also aims at extending this technology to other applications than haptics and HMI, such as medical, industrial or energy harvesting applications, thanks to the creation of a technological platform based on its expertise on elastic waves. The team, based in Grenoble (France), brings complementary expertise in haptics, acoustics, material science, system engineering, electronics, software development and user experience to enable users to really feel what is displayed on their screens.
