2nd VICMUN - 04 - 08 August 2025 Model UN simulations engage hundreds of thousands of students each year, helping them to learn more about the principles of the UN and how it functions. The delegates are students and scholars as well as young graduates from all around the world. They represent an individual member state of the UN and simulate the negotiation processes in the various UN bodies and organizations. For several days the participants step into the shoes of diplomats and try to represent the interests of their chosen country in negotiations. What are your personal benefits? In February 2025, in frame of the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, a Winter Edition of VICMUN was organized for approx. 60 students. Our team is looking forward to meeting you (again) in August 2025. VICMUN is an independet programme, that is not an official programme by the UN, but strongly supported by the Foreign Policy and United Nations Association of Austria (UNA-Austria). As of the great success of the first MUN conference VICMUN in summer 2024, being a project initiated by UNA-Austria, its general growth apart from the main conference and further activities during the year, the programme is now being organized as an independent organization (ZVR:1813599511).
