Over the years, Plateau state in Nigeria has become a choice destination for not just farmers, but Potato farmers. It will interest you to know that 90% of the Potato consumed in Nigeria is from Plateau state. Surprisingly, prior to this time, Nigeria and the whole of West Africa were dependent on East, North and South Africa for processed and raw (in some rare cases) potato. However, with the emergence of Vicampro, the aforementioned is now a thing of the past. Using eco-friendly technology, we are currently the largest and the only indigenous producer of seedling, fresh and processed potatoes in West Africa. We aim to provide an affordable and sustainable Potato processing chain which will create investment opportunities for our country, create massive job opportunities, redefine farming in our country and greatly reduce the level of hunger in Africa.
