VICOP Agro

Located in Campo Grande - MS, Brazil, VICOP operates in the agribusiness sector. Agriculture is our main business segment, which involves the cultivation of soybeans and corn but also less relevant crops such as sorghum, beans, oat and wheat. Our company mainly operates on rented land, cultivating crops in the west region of Mato Grosso do Sul: Bonito, Jardim and Bela Vista. We also operate an extensive livestock business located near Anastácio - MS. We were founded in 1998 by our three-decade long business partners Vinicius Corrêa (VIC) and Osvaldo Piccinin (OP), both with broad experience in the commodity sector: The first, agronomic engineer by Universidade Federal de Viçosa, has a 30 year long history of farmland operation and management; The second, also an agronomic engineer (Esalq - USP) is the co-founder of Áster Máquinas, John Deere's exclusive sales representative inside of the states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul. Furthermore, Osvaldo is also Agro Amazonia's co-founder, which has sold 65% of its control to the japanese business giant Sumitomo in 2015. Given our history of excelence, VICOP values transparency within our workplace, responsibility to expand, and sustainability to our business model. This way, we make decisions to avoid or mitigate the risks and volatility intricate to the commodity market, so that we can maintain healthy results throughout our annual harvesting cycles.
