Victim Support IOM

Victim Support IOM is an independent Manx charity which offers free and confidential emotional and practical support to victims of crime. Through the Witness Service they also support victims, witnesses and their families through the entire court process. As a victim, the crime doesn't need to have been reported to the Police to receive support. The crime can also be historic. Although Victim Support works closely with the police, criminal justice system and the government they are completely independent. The help they offer is confidential unless it’s an emergency or someone’s safety is at risk. Victim Support needs in the region of £150,000 per year to operate and relies heavily upon donations from corporate sources and the general public.
