Victorian Bioenergy Network

The Victorian Bioenergy Network aims to collaborate with state and local government, industry, and other sectors to remove barriers to the wider implementation of biogas as a source of dispatchable renewable energy. Bioenergy technology has been shown to be a key engine for facilitating a circular bio-economy and includes benefits such as waste minimisation, emissions reduction and the production of beneficial by-products. We see the development of bioenergy in its own right in Victoria as a key pathway to developing a low-carbon circular economy that can provide many economic benefits to the state.
