Vid is derived from the Sanskrit word Vidya or vidyā (विद्या) which appears prominently in ancient Indian texts pertaining to Indian philosophy to mean science, learning, and knowledge. It refers to valid learnings that cannot be contradicted and absolute wisdom which is gained self intuitively. The root of this Sanskrit word vid (विद्) means that which always exists, the wise one who knows, the means of knowing, and where there is contemplation. Vox, on the other hand, is a word for vocals. Taken from the Latin word ‘Vox’, it means ‘voice’. Derived from these phrases is our identity – VidVox – The Voice Of Knowledge.
