Today the ethnic communities of Vietnam face too many challenges in maintaining their traditional lifestyle like the deforestation, black market trading of plants to China and the increasing threat of urban migration. The VietHerb’s mission is to support the ethnic communities of Vietnam in the preservation and development of their precious medicinal plants and ancient knowledgeby bringing the herbal remedies to the urban world. VietHerb is a small social company founded in 2012 by Mr. Vi Vu Quand, Mr. Do Hoang and Mr. Nguyen Cong Huan who have degrees in Forestry and more than 10 years of experience in local NGOs in Vietnam.
