Vietnamese Week APU

Officially held since 2003, with the patronage of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Fukuoka and the tremendous support from sponsors in Vietnam and Japan, Vietnamese Week has become a ‘brand’ and is renowned not only among the APU community including professors and students but also among the residents of Beppu city, Oita prefecture. So far, Vietnamese Week has achieved specific achievements: - Held 19 consecutive successful seasons - Attract more than 600-700 visitors to the Grand Show every year - Draw the attention of students from over 90 different countries - Reach over 15,000 people on social media platforms - Attract approximately 1000 students and 120 local citizens to participate in annual event activities. For years, Vietnamese Week has been maintained and developed to promote Vietnamese culture to international students at APU and the Japanese people. At the same time, it aims to keep the flame of enthusiasm for Vietnamese tradition and culture in the hearts of APU’s Vietnamese students.
