Somos una empresa pionera en tecnología de Atmósfera Modificada (MAP) para la exportación de fruta fresca, nacida en el año 1993.
Concebida por Don y Tom Bailey, segunda y tercera generación de la familia de productores de cerezas en la zona de Oregon, USA. Ambos profesionales, con títulos en física y química y Gestión de Packing respectivamente, crearon el envase (bolsa) de atmósfera modificada (MA) con la marca View Fresh, para resolver el problema que tenían los productores y exportadores americanos de cerezas frescas, de no poder llegar por vía marítima con cerezas frescas a mercados lejanos, debido a la corta vida de postcosecha inherente a dicha fruta.
El envase View Fresh®, presentado por primera vez en 1992, es la Tecnología de Empaque de Atmósfera Modificada (MAP) patentada por Orchard View Farms, y diseñada específicamente para mantener frescas las cerezas dulces de calidad de exportación, por 35 a 45 días después de su embalaje, en condiciones de una adecuada cadena de frío. Abriendo así el mercado de los envíos marítimos para las cerezas.
