VIMAR1991 was established in the 1970s as a knitting yarn company and over time has distinguished itself by specialising in the production of fancy yarns. Located in Carisio, between the rice fields of Biella and Vercelli, research, innovation and customisation are at the heart of our work.
Creativity and fancy have always been the principles that guide our creation process, allowing us to produce yarns that are unique in the sector and that combine innovation and experience.
In 2020, we started an internal programme to improve raw material traceability and reduce waste, with the aim of reducing environmental impact. We are GOTS, GRS, RWS certified and continue to work on reducing our carbon footprint.
Constant experimentation with innovative fibres, combined with historical know-how and savoir-faire, allow the company to remain at the forefront of innovation. Thus is born the exceptional variety of yarns that Vimar1991 offers its customers.
