VI Mining is an emerging gold and silver producer in Peru focused on the development and operation of gold mining assets and processing (tolling) plants in the mineral-rich regions of northern, central and southern Peru, close to other established global mining companies.
The company has contracted to acquire two former working gold and silver mines in the mineral rich region of La Libertad, Minaspampa and Rosario de Belén. Both projects are expected to restart operations [over the course of 2018], following further exploration, mine development and optimistation.
The company also has two tolling projects which will service the needs of regulated small scale miners, the first of which will go into operation in 2018 at Oro Pesa in the Arequipa region.
VI Mining has assembled a team of mining professionals with the track record of building, developing and expanding mining operations in Peru, and a team of experienced geologists and metallurgical engineers to deliver a clear exploration programme to support the company’s future growth.
