Vào ngày 11/2, Chủ tịch VIC Phạm Nhật Vượng đã thay mặt HĐQT Công ty ban hành quyết định tham gia góp vốn thành lập Công ty TNHH Hai thành viên trở lên.
Với vốn điều lệ ban đầu là 1.050 tỷ đồng, trong đó VinGroup sẽ góp để sở hữu 70% vốn của VINE-COM.
VinEcom là thương hiệu mới thành lập, đánh dấu sự gia nhập của Vingroup trong lĩnh vực thương mại điện tử. Với những thành công đã đạt được trong lĩnh vực TTTM tại Việt Nam, việc VinEcom đi vào hoạt động sẽ góp phần đưa vị thế của Vingroup trong lĩnh vực bán lẻ lên một tầm cao mới.
Mục tiêu của VinEcom là tạo ra kênh bán lẻ trực tuyến đáng tin cậy, chuyên nghiệp và quy mô cho tất cả các sản phẩm, dịch vụ không chỉ của Vingroup mà còn của các đối tác, bao gồm các khách hàng đang thuê diện tích trong trung tâm thương mại của Vingroup và khách hàng bên ngoài. Sự khác biệt và cũng là lợi ích vượt trội của VinEcom sẽ là việc tạo ra cho người tiêu dùng một trải nghiệm mua sắm trên mạng đạt tiêu chuẩn cao và tin cậy. Với VinEcom, Vingroup khẳng định quyết tâm giữ vị trí hàng đầu trong lĩnh vực bán lẻ tại Việt Nam.
