For more than 45 years, the Vineyard Preservation Trust has enriched Martha's Vineyard's landscape by preserving places that build community, make memories, and tell the island's story. Our work restoring, reimaging, and managing historic buildings keep iconic landmarks an integral part of island culture and daily life.
Vineyard Preservation Trust owns and maintains 20 properties. Historic, classic, quirky, and beloved, the Trust's landmarks are located in four Island towns, and include a heritage center, a farm, two churches, a green space, two formal gardens, fifteen exhibition and event spaces, and a carousel. Our work ensures that these invaluable assets will remain in public use for generations to come.
