Team Vinidra is the student satellite initiative of MKSSS’s Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Pune. We are a multidisciplinary group of undergraduate students working to design, develop, and launch space systems; entirely student-led and women-driven.
Our flagship mission, Karvesat, is a CubeSat initiative forming the foundation of a multi-phase satellite program (KarveSat 1.0, 2.0, …) aimed at long-term capacity-building in small satellite systems. Through these mission series, we are committed to strengthening hands-on experience in satellite engineering and payload innovation.
Team Vinidra is also exploring opportunities for flight integration on platforms like SMiLE and POEM, and actively participates in national-level CanSat competitions and international challenges to train early-stage teams in subsystem design, mission planning, and testing.
Our vision is to enable more women to lead and contribute to India’s emerging space ecosystem across academia, industry, and research.
