Virsa Watch

Virsa Watch is an independent, heritage initiative led by two Pakistani archaeological scientists. We locate and record archaeological and historic sites throughout Pakistan, create open-access catalogs, and provide straightforward yet informative reports on the conservation status of each site. We promote evidence‑based conservation, expand public engagement, and share practical approaches to restore endangered heritage sites. To put it briefly, the purpose of Virsa Watch is to assist everyone, from policymakers to village dwellers, in recognizing, comprehending, and preserving the cultural heritage that characterizes Pakistan's history and influences its future.
