The VR Lab in DSDC was established in 2011 with the aim of utilizing Virtual Reality tools and technologies for research and education purposes.
Over the years, the lab has developed expertise in various domains, including Cultural Heritage, Engineering Education, AEC, Oil & Gas, and Biomedical applications.
The lab's capacity extends beyond 3D scanning and encompasses the creation of VR interactive environments.
To support our work, the lab is equipped with a range of cutting-edge technologies, including terrestrial and handheld laser scanners, DSLR cameras for photogrammetry, 360 cameras, thermal cameras, VR headsets, VR gloves, hologram and holofans, 3D projectors, and high-end workstations.
