Virtual School Victoria

Virtual School Victoria is one of the largest State Government schools in Victoria and the State's leading virtual school. Previously known as Distance Education Centre Victoria, our history dates back to 1909. Our teaching model is based on the most extensive evidence-based research conducted into virtual learning in Australia. Students come to us from public, independent and Catholic schools when they need flexible learning options. Our teachers are experts in their fields as well as in digital learning. We are one of the few schools in Victoria to have specialist teachers for every subject. Virtual School Victoria is developing and delivering intensive ten-week online courses for almost 50,000 year 5 to 8 students as part of the State Government's Victorian High Ability Program.
