At the Visionary Youth Project, our mission is to empower at-risk youth by providing comprehensive support, mentorship, and resources that foster personal growth, academic success, and community engagement. What We Offer Mentorship Connect with positive role models who provide guidance, support, and encouragement. Educational Support Access to tutoring, homework assistance, and educational workshops to stay on track academically. Life Skills Training Learn essential life skills such as communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and financial literacy. Counseling and Mental Health Services Receive counseling and mental health support to cope with emotional and psychological challenges. Career Development Explore career opportunities with career counseling, job training, and internship placements. Community Engagement Get involved in community service and activities to foster a sense of belonging and responsibility. Parental Involvement Engage parents and families in our programs to create a supportive home environment. Recreational Activities Participate in recreational and extracurricular activities to promote healthy lifestyles and positive peer interactions. About Paul Garwood Paul Garwood, the founder of the Visionary Youth Project, is a dedicated professional with a passion for helping youth. With extensive experience in the Restorative Justice field at the middle school level, Paul is committed to creating positive change. As a Mental Resilience Coach, seasoned entrepreneur, author, and professional speaker, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the project. He also serves as a Board Member for Boys Hope, Girls Hope Detroit, further demonstrating his commitment to youth empowerment.
