Visit Knowle

Visit Knowle is a business led body, formed in May 2019 by a group of volunteers from businesses, community groups and residents. Our work has been shaped by extensive business surveys and engagement to form our vision and action plan. Visit Knowle was formed to sustain the long-term future of Knowle by helping businesses to flourish and by providing a compelling experience for our residents & visitors. In simple terms, we want to raise the bar for our businesses and everybody who visits Knowle. Our work includes projects that will invite footfall to the village; increase spend with local businesses; engage more people in our heritage; make Knowle an attractive place to be, create new experiences and to promote the rich and varied aspects of Knowle. Recent projects have included marketing Knowle as a place to shop, eat, spend time and do business through promotional videos and the launch of a destination website. Recent events include the Time Machine Heritage festival and roaming street entertainers in December. We've supported businesses through lockdowns by sharing information, advice and by delivering social media training. Street scene projects include town tidy days and a Parklet due to be installed in Spring 2022.
