Visit Derry is a Destination Marketing Organisation (DMO) with Visitor Servicing responsibilities and adopts a proactive, visitor-focussed approach to tourism growth within the destination, which balances and integrates the interests of visitors, industry (service providers) and the local population (community). Visit Derry is a membership organisation (currently 280 tourism providers) open to any business in the region who wishes to support our efforts to attract more visitors to the destination and see tourism as a partnership approach.
Visit Derry have a service level agreement with DCSDC to deliver two key roles - Destination Marketing and Visitor Servicing (including management of the city's Visitor Information Centre, currently residing at 44 Foyle Street – due to re-locate to Waterloo Place in Spring 2020) and also plays a key role in Industry Engagement and Advocacy & Influence for the tourism sector.
