Visitor Management Ltd was founded in 2001. Founder and MD Malcolm Humphreys had recognised the need to update the pen and paper sign-in registers found on the reception desks of many companies.
The pen & paper log-in book is not a secure way to store visitor data, it is time-consuming for the visitor to complete and is not an efficient way to compile data for reporting. And yet many schools and companies still opt for this method due to the assumption that a digital sign-in system would far exceed the company budget!
Malcolm began developing his first visitor management system VMLite and launched it in August 2001. Within the first year, big name venues such as the Tate Modern Gallery in London had switched to the VM visitor management system and we are proud to say that they are still a valued customer today.
Since 2001, our client base has continued to grow, the company has grown, and our cloud-based visitor management system has continued to evolve to meet the needs of our customers.
