VisMootValencia

We are a newcomer team of 6 students representing the University of Valencia in the 29th edition of the Willem C. Vis Moot Competition. Our coach strongly believes that "coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is a success". So we came together on 19 November 2021 as a group of students committed to teaming up and acting as a solid and efficient team of counsels in this year's international commercial arbitration proceedings and, we are ready for the challenge! The challenge consists of drafting a Memorandum for Claimant by 9 December 2021, a Memorandum for Respondent by 27 January 2022, performing to the best of our knowledge and advocacy skills in the oral hearings of arbitration proceedings that will take place online between the 9 and 14 April 2022. We will defend the interest of both the Claimant and Respondent. And as practice makes perfect, we will hone our advocacy skills in different pre hearings (pre-moots) between February and April 2022. Behind a great success lies a great team. So we are committed to building a solid and efficient team where technology works to our advantage. And communication, trust, strategy, time, and project management are essential elements to achieving our goals.
