WE ARE : Creating a New Ecosystem for Fashion Business. This forum comprises Dyed in the Wool (as the idiom goes) Apparel Industry related Professionals, who have been in the Business for past 30 years. Between them the members cover the entire gamut of the Industry from Fibre to Fashion. Being from backgrounds as varied as Design, Manufacturing, Incubation, Technology, Buying Agents, International Liaison Office Heads, Retail Brands Leaders, Industry Consultants, Apparel Industry Training and Academics the group covers the entire span from concept to consumer. Compared to seasoned Industries like FMCG, Cosmetics, Durables, this Industry in its modern industrial form is relatively new, having started only in the 1970s in an organized manner. Hence, it is not an overstatement to say that this group represents the first such professional group in an Industry that has just come into its maturity phase. OUR GOAL : -bring all stake holders on an integrated and inclusive platform -act as a think tank to provide inputs to policy makers and associated bodies -provide impetus to entrepreneurship, innovation, technology and advanced skill development -work towards establishing India’s leadership in sustainability FOR WHOM : Every component of the value chain from Concept to Consumer.
