Between them the members cover the entire gamut of the Industry from Fibre to Fashion. Being from backgrounds as varied as Design, Manufacturing, Incubation, Technology, Buying Agents, International Liaison Office Heads, Retail Brands Leaders, Industry Consultants, Apparel Industry Training and Academics the group covers the entire span from concept to consumer. Compared to seasoned Industries like FMCG, Cosmetics, Durables, this Industry in its modern industrial form is relatively new, having started only in the 1970s in an organized manner. Hence, it is not an overstatement to say that this group represents the first such professional group in an Industry that has just come into its maturity phase.
