- Vibrations and System Identification
VIT Ingenieria counts with a wide range of sensors we use to carry out field measurements and evaluate the propagation of waves on the field and their effects on buildings and people alike, comparing against comfort and damage thresholds. Moreover, we use the structural response under vibrations to identify its properties and calibrate static and dynamic models, which are then used for structural analysis and evaluation.
- Seismic risk and design earthquakes
At VIT Ingenieria we perform seismic hazard and seismic risk analysis, defining design spectrums with both deterministic and probabilistic approaches given the location and the possible epicenters.
