Ons streven is mensen zo lang mogelijk zelfstandig te laten wonen, in een veilige en vertrouwde omgeving en op een manier die betekenis geeft aan hun leven. Het aandeel van ouderen in de totale bevolkingsopbouw neemt toe en mensen bereiken een steeds hogere leeftijd. Onder ouderen komen veel chronische ziekten voor en ook de groep gehandicapten in onze samenleving wordt steeds ouder. De vraag naar zorg neemt hierdoor toe, terwijl het aantal professionele zorgverleners afneemt. VitaValley wil deze groeiende kloof tussen vraag en aanbod helpen dichten. VitaValley werkt samen met kwalitatief hoogwaardige partnerorganisaties, sociale ondernemingen, de sociale investeerderskring Vitality Ventures en adviesorganisatie Vital Innovators. Ook op internationaal niveau vindt samenwerking plaats. De samenwerking met krachtige partijen maakt het versnellen van innovaties mogelijk. Succesvolle implementaties rollen we uit over heel Nederland. VitaValley richt zich met de innovaties op de volledige zorgketen. Alle aspecten binnen de keten zoals de inhoud van de zorg, organisatie, wonen en (ICT-) technologie kunnen het onderwerp van innovatie zijn.
