It’s been 20 years since Vitrocsa began in Switzerland. Swiss engingeers, being inspired by California minimalist architecture, developed a unique idea. They wanted to create large sliding glass structural elements that support window space and therefore minimalise the framework. The engineers combined Swiss watch precision technology with a slim 18mm thermally broken aluminium profile to develop the stainless steel ball bearing mechanism. The mechanism delivers a silent, effortlessly fluid movement of the glass panels which are suitable for everyday use with no special maintenance required.
