We offer innovative solutions for the glass industry: Vitrum Technologies is a mechanical engineering company focusing on forming and production systems for the glass industry. Vitrum Technologies is a spin off from the Aachen-based Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT (Fraunhofer IPT). Equipment currently used for the production of such 3D formed glass is reaching its process-related limits. Vitrum Technologies' goal is to develop process developments and machine technology for these applications. Worldwide, there is an increasing demand for thin glasses in technically more and more sophisticated shapes and thicknesses.
