About Vitub S.R.L.
In 1974, while in their mid-20s, Norbert and Leon Mehl acquired, turned around and grew this engineering and construction firm, specializing in turn key steel works for public infrastructure projects and private industrial parks. Among their achievements, the Mehl brothers became the managing partners of an engineering consortium that built in record time a suspended steel structure and sky roof for a FIFA World Cup stadium. Their largest private client at the time, in conjunction with infrastructure warehousing works at the Atucha I and Embalse nuclear power plants, was Impresit-Sideco, owned by Francisco Macri, a prominent Italian Argentine businessman and father of Mauricio Macri, former recent President of Argentina.
