Our goal at Vivian's Diner + Drinks is to create an upscale but casual dining experience for our guests in a one-of-a-kind restaurant. We have taken classic diner favorites and added modern twists with depth of flavors. Simply put, Vivian's is a 21st century diner in a historic Des Moines hotel. Along with its clean lines, open ceiling and light colors, we have added elements of wood, glass, stainless steel, sparkling tile and high-end polished fixtures. Whether you are dining as one seated at our diner counter with high back stools, or come as a group and experience our community table or dining with friends and family in our comfortable booth and tables, every seat in the house is great! Vivian's also has a full bar at the front of the restaurant. It houses the finest liquors and wines along with several local craft beers. An upstairs mezzanine completes the bar with its TV and intimate lounge seating, perfect for drinks before dinner, on a date or for the weekend game. Open 6 days a week, Vivian's is perfect for anyone, any age, any attire, any time! Vivian's is the exclusive caterer for the newly renovated Lewis Room at the Hotel Kirkwood. This banquet space with its 18 foot ceilings can be transformed from one large room to 4 separate rooms. Accommodating events from 25-350 guests. The vintage look of the historic Hotel Kirkwood Lobby is a unique and beautiful way to give your guests an unforgettable experience!
