The VIVO Hub is a multidisciplinary research initiative, funded by EPSRC UK, focused on developing smart, patient-guided healthcare solutions for ageing and disabled populations. A joint project between the University of Bristol, University of the West of England, Imperial College London, University College London, and the University of Strathclyde, the hub leverages expertise in digital health, robotics, and smart materials.
We aim to enhance mobility, physical health, and well-being by restoring essential mobility functions, reducing fall risks, and improving quality of life. Through collaborative research and co-design with clinicians and stakeholders, we create innovative, user-centred technologies to support independent living.
