VLAA architecten

A joint passion for culturally relevant architecture brought VLAA founders Imke van Leuken en Ruben Aalbersberg together in 2013. During and after their studies both of them travelled the globe, discovering the relevance of rooted architecture for developing countries. The drive to create beautiful design combined with a sense of social responsibility motivated them to start a broad practice in architecture, participating in varying projects throughout the world and close to home.
