Oprichter Jan Hartog startte in 1966 Het Vleescentrum b.v. op de Birkstraat te Soest. Al snel groeide het bedrijf uit tot de schakel in de horeca en groothandel in het midden van ons land. Om aan de gestelde eisen te kunnen voldoen is in 1995 het plan van totale nieuwbouw ontstaan.
Een nieuw bedrijfspand werd gerealiseerd. Een pand dat voldoet aan alle keuringseisen. Zoals bijvoorbeeld klimaatbeheersing, routing en normen betreffende EEG-erkenning en Haccp, kwaliteitscontrole. Op 28 januari 1998 werd het pand in gebruik genomen.
Marco Hartog en Ronald van Klooster vormen inmiddels de directie van het Vleescentrum waar vakbekwaamheid en motivatie de kernbegrippen zijn.
Algehele automatisering en persoonlijk contact staan garant voor accurate orderafhandeling en de grote mate van flexibiliteit maakt stipte levering mogelijk.
