Over the years, it grew to become a large meat processing factory with 180 employees. As well as this, Persoon now has a company in Germany and a sales office in Great Britain. The back bacon is produced from the loin, mild cured and if requested smoked. With our eye for quality we are a large exporter to the UK market as well as our home market. Streaky bacon For streaks we use lean rindless bellies, which can be produced either unsmoked or smoked depending on requirements. We supply whole streaks for slicers, doubles for the deli counter and sliced retail slices for C A packs,for the wholesalers and distributors.
