We’re an ethnic minority-led organisation that gives disadvantaged communities the skills and education they need to influence change.
Vocal Communities C.I.C. was founded by first generation immigrants who have all grown up in London, UK. Experiencing first-hand what it means to be different, we’re determined to become powerful advocates for marginalised communities.
We are experienced in navigating the complex institutional systems of the UK, and are specialists in education, politics and marketing. Vocal Communities has a wide network including members from influential bodies such as Parliament and local council. It is through our network that we provide marginalised communities with a ‘seat at the table’ in major discussions that will inevitably shape and influence policy.
By delivering campaigns, tailored programs, and policy consultations, we advocate and educate for and with the interests of marginalised people.
Alongside the community, our aim is to provide the resources to help those that are not aware of the processes of governing bodies. We help them navigate these complicated systems in order to empower them to have their voices heard.
By collaborating with external organisations, we advocate for a system that empowers democracy through conversation. We want governments, stakeholders and businesses to recognise the social problems that affect our diverse communities, and work with them to address these concerns.
