Vodrapy (Therapy On Demand) is an online platform that connects children with disabilities and their families with healthcare professionals anywhere in Australia. The main aims behind supporting children with disabilities is:
- For early intervention services for children and young adults between the ages of 3-18 years old.
- To support children during major Transition Periods in their life, such as from childcare to primary, primary to secondary and secondary to post-school life (employment, tertiary education and independent living).
It’s essential for us that our clients get personalized suggestions on what categories of healthcare professionals are necessary to create the best support network.
Rather than do things the typical way, we’ve created a system designed around our clients’ needs whereby they initially have a free consultation with our Head Specialist to assess their child’s needs and following that, we would recommend the ideal types of support the child may need, i.e. an Occupational Therapist, a Music Therapist and a Transition Therapist.
In this example, parents can then then use the platform to search for suitable Occupational Therapists, Music Therapists and Transition Therapists anywhere around Australia, read their profiles and experiences, review their ratings and finally set up a video conference with your chosen Therapist.
