Voltes Cooperativa of #Architecture and Urbanism

Voltes is a cooperative specializing in various areas of architecture and urban planning: bioconstruction and sustainability, rehabilitation, citizen participation. Our lines of work develop a conscious architecture with social and built habitat; an inclusive urbanism open to the processes of participation and collective transformation; innovative sustainable facilities with natural materials; as well as critical training around the environment we inhabit. We look for alternatives to the traditional way of living the profession with an assembly and horizontal organization. We want to work transversally with other disciplines, groups and professionals in the sector, facilitating their involvement to promote shared knowledge. We believe in empowerment through collective work, the ability of people to define the spaces we inhabit, and we focus our practice as a tool for social transformation. We are committed to research and technical rigor to advance a respectful relationship between the built environment and society. We want to defend the spaces that include all of us, with proposals that prioritize rehabilitation as a project attitude, with an enthusiastic, creative and positive vision for the future.
