Volunteer Tech® is a professional skills training program dedicated to transforming the lives of marginalized youth, including street youth, those from conflict-affected areas, disabled youth, and young individuals from very low-income families. Founded in May 2017 by Aklilu Mandefro, a passionate young software engineer and researcher, our initiative is deeply rooted in Gondar and Bahir Dar, Ethiopia. 🌟 However, our vision extends far beyond these borders, as we strive to empower marginalized youth across Africa. 🌍 Our mission is to ignite the potential of the younger generation, inspiring them to overcome challenges, pursue their dreams, and become resilient leaders of tomorrow. 💪✨ Through our free professional skills training, we focus on four key areas: personal development, leadership, coding, and research. 💻📚 We believe that by equipping young minds with essential skills, we can help them create a brighter future not just for themselves, but for everyone around them.
