Volunteerability

Volunteerability is a program developed to create more inclusive communities in South Australia. The program generates opportunities for volunteers with disability in the community by supporting organisations and volunteers. Volunteerability is a result of a partnership between Orana Australia, Southern Volunteering South Australia (SA), and Northern Volunteering South Australia (SA), funded by the Department of Social Services (DSS). It provides support through: - FREE Disability Awareness training sessions for organisations and volunteers - A toolkit of resources to assist inclusive activities - Supporting volunteering organisations to be more inclusive in their approach to recruiting and retaining volunteers with disability - Supporting volunteers with disability to engage in meaningful volunteer roles with the assistance of peer mentors If you want to participate in the program as a host organisation or as a volunteer, please contact us at volunteerability@orana.asn.au
