N.C. Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service promotes service and volunteering. We run the state AmeriCorps programs, the Governor's Page Program, and Governor's Volunteer Awards. The Commission is the state lead for donations and volunteers during a disaster. Moreover, we try to encourage and increase volunteerism to improve lives, strengthen communities and foster civic engagement in North Carolina.
