VOSH/International believes in the freedom to see. Providing the gift of vision and eye health to people worldwide. We facilitate the provision and the sustainability of vision care worldwide for people who can neither afford nor obtain such care. Our goal is to increase our global impact whenever possible by supporting sustainable eye clinics, optometry schools and optometric educators in areas lacking sufficient eye care.
The Illinois Chapter of VOSH was founded in 1976. Since its inception, VOSH Illinois has provided eye care and vision correction to underserved populations in Illinois and around the world. We have completed missions to over 40 countries, providing care to over 150,000 people. VOSH Illinois provides eye examinations and glasses free of charge. Your donations can help our organization continue to provide these services on both a local and international level.
