De vereniging wil het lokale vrijwilligerswerk in Overijssel zo goed mogelijk ondersteunen en versterken, met name door het versterken en ontwikkelen van lokale vrijwilligerssteunpunten en -centrales.
VOSVI beschikt dankzij haar leden over een grote hoeveelheid kennis en praktijkervaring en is daarmee de expert op het gebied van vrijwillige inzet in Overijssel.
