The National VOTE Movement was founded in Walpole, Massachusetts, after discovering a critical civic gap: despite high registration rates, only 8% of residents were voting in local elections. We learned that most people didn’t know when local elections occurred, who the candidates were, or why these elections mattered.
We aim to close that gap through nonpartisan, accessible voter education—particularly for local elections. Our digital brochures have already helped over 1,000 residents in one town engage with their ballots. Now, we’re going national.
