Rebar And Steel Detailing services
We Develop models and designs production drawings for the fabrication and erection of structural steel including: detailing beams, columns, bracing, girts, erection plans and sections, roof frames, handrails, lintels, concrete embeds, ladders and cages, roof screens, dumpster gates, canopies, field bolt lists, gather sheets, mill orders, and CNC files.
Produce jobs of varying sizes such as warehouses, retail developments, condominiums, low- and medium-rise buildings, factories, banks, office buildings, club houses, retail developments, renovations, churches, schools, and distribution centers.
Meticulously check detail sheets and erection sheets for other detailers. Develop training for Junior Detailers in the use of SDS-2 program and modern detailing practices. Utilize AISC standard connections.
Communicate and coordinate with the shop fabrication personnel.Collect, evaluate and organize construction documents and prepare production drawings for steel fabrication and assembly.
Design steel member connection based on fabricator preferences, industry standards and custom job properties.Train new employees how to utilize industry specialized software to include: Auto-cad, SDS-2, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Instruct new draftsman on the principles of steel construction and the best practices for steel fabrication.
Check and review steel detailer's drawings for conformance with construction documents and fabricator standards.As required, trouble shoot and resolve software issues for in-house draftsman issues with projects.
Report customer changes to project and prepare a cost impact report for estimating/purchasing department.Consult and coordinate with Engineer, General Contractor and steel erection crew when field fix is required and prepare cost impact report for estimating department.
