About V-TAG

Welcome to the Voluntary Tibet Advocacy Group (V-TAG), where we are dedicated to fulfilling two significant missions that lie at the heart of our work. Firstly, we take pride in fostering and facilitating collaboration within the Tibetan freedom movement by bringing together four key groups: the Tibetan People, Tibetan NGOs/CSOs, the Central Tibetan Administration (Government-in-Exile), and supporting allies. Through our concerted efforts, we aim to strengthen the collective voice and impact of the Tibet movement on a global scale. We are driven by a steadfast determination to inform the world and its leaders about the reality of Tibet - its historical independence, current illegal occupation, and the non-violent struggle of its people for freedom. The oppressive practices of the Chinese government only further fuel our dedication to opposing false narratives and preserving Tibetans' way of life. We advocate for the global recognition of Tibet's geopolitical, economic, and environmental significance and call upon the international community to support a peaceful resolution to the Tibet-China conflict. Secondly, we place a strong emphasis on empowering Tibetan youth, particularly in terms of leadership development. Our focus lies in upskilling the next generation of Tibetan leaders, equipping them with the necessary tools, knowledge, and confidence to navigate the challenges of the modern world and lead with conviction and vision. At the core of our organization's mission is the commitment to making a tangible and positive difference in the lives of Tibetans, as well as advancing the cause of Tibet through unity, collaboration, and empowering our future leaders. Together, we strive to create a brighter and more prosperous future for Tibet and its people.
