Vermont CARES works for and with Vermonters affected by HIV/AIDS to promote wellbeing through a continuum of prevention, support, and advocacy services. Founded in 1986, Vermont CARES provides services to Vermonters living with HIV/AIDS and provides individuals with HIV prevention education, skills building, and materials. Headquartered in Burlington, VT, Vermont CARES has regional offices in Montpelier, St. Johnsbury and Rutland. From these offices, Vermont CARES reaches 10 of the state's 14 counties, including the most densely populated and the most rural.
