A new design. A new paradigm in the world of heavy transport drones and in the Taxi and Conmmuter markets. Working on a new VTOL system. Real, fast, with a useful range, amphibian, and also ... very, very, beautiful. (Which is also important !!)
But ... why it is "novel". Well, because it uses the ideas that have already been tested, but that nobody combined. Conventional designs look for similarities to what has already been seen. Just like automobiles, they clung to the design and dimensions of carriages. Likewise it happened with the plane, it was derived from kites and thus it has happened with the smallest drones and then their largest derivatives. Basically. A box and and a pair number of propellers. And when the idea of the taxi arose (personally I was already working on this concept before being baptized) this started as a drone on steroids (of a very automobile size, was it realistic or not) that later discovered that the lift rotors must transform or they will only be flying batteries, with which the concept of a fuselage hanging from some rotors that could be turned and go into conventional mode and that, of course, step from being able to take off from any point at street level, to a lot more realistic take off from a high station and out of the Newtonian interaction that would have enriched so many hairdressers and eye doctors ...
I saw this panorama 10 years ago and I was not satisfied either.
